West Steart Farm is amazing! I really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to coming again.

First time I’ve ever ridden a horse properly, fabulous! Great lessons from Zana and good food as well. Look forward to coming back.

We are connoiseurs of short riding holidays, but this one was absolutely THE BEST EVER (and we will be back). The whole holiday was wonderful, relaxing, delicious suppers, good company and heavenly deep sleep in a quiet comfortable bed.

Wonderful way of seeing the Devon countryside and coast. Riding superbly run. Animal care immaculate. Hospitality above reproach. Will be booking a longer stay.

360 degree report – 3 things you do well; 1 lead terrific rides, 2 cook delicious food, 3 provide a wonderfully relaxing holiday. 3 things you could do better….? Can’t think of anything, perfect as ever!

Best time ever at DRH. The ride over Exmoor to Tarr Steps on my old favourite, Grace has to be my favourite. It was a ride of many firsts; leading a canter, going down hill at speed, popping over logs and learning how to take bearings. Saw the Exmoor ponies with their foals. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Thank you for such a wonderful time! We have had the BEST holiday! I will remember always the transformation in my girls – from 2 very nervous, unconfident riders to going up the gallops in 4 days! Thank you

Thank you so much for a brilliant week. Could not have wished for anything better! loved all the ponies I rode, yummy food, comfy beds and fabulous rides.

I love our trips here they get better and better. Going home with lots more lovely memories, can’t wait to come back.

Ride into the view was brilliant. Food and company excellent, but goodness me, the Devon time warp! Where did those days go? See you again soon.

The farm is perfect set in stunning countryside and the variety of riding is superb, loved it, and the Gallops – well wow!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again and hopefully see you soon.

This is a lovely place with all the ingredients to provide a peaceful “spring tonic!” I have been very comfortable in our large room and dinner with wine and convivial company was very tasty! Oh, and the riding and views to die for, peace and quiet, lovely long canters and so much more still to do with this herd of beautiful ponies. The gallops, well you just have to do it!! A spring tonic for now but this place is going to be a secret hide away.

Well! I don’t know where to start. We’ve packed so much in to this weekend, every minute of it has been great. We’ve cuddled lambs, ahh, cuddled ponies (of course). The ride from Knightshayes was lovely – the countryside is so peaceful round here and picturesque. The welcome we got at Knighsthayes was second to none and made us feel really special. The highlight has to be the ride up the gallops – WOW!! – Thanks Zana, Jim for making it such an “occasion”, I’m really looking forward to doing it again but nothing will top that now. Mr B and Troops have been stars as usual. We’ve had fun filled days ending with a lovely meal and get together in the evening with good home cooked food and good company. I’m taking home some happy memories of this weekend, hopefully, they’ll keep me going until August – can’t wait.

Fab few days with the “old Malham gang” and my favourite pony Monty (I love that little guy). Enjoyed every minute. Dodging the hunt in the woods was funny. Riding through Sir Ian’s land and making history at Knightshayes felt pretty special… but the best bit has got to be the whole gallops experience. The pre – gallop tutorial, the post gallop analysis and the ride itself on “John the Horse’s” pristine surface was brilliant!!!
