How to Find Us

We are located just outside the rural village of Stoodleigh in the beautiful Exe Valley. The region is a mass of rolling hills and quiet rural villages surrounded by rivers, fields, woodland and bridleways with a vineyard also not too far away. We are only a few miles south of the picturesque Exmoor gateway of Dulverton!

By Road

We are 12 miles from the M5 Exit 27 (A361); Travel 6 miles north of Tiverton on the A361; turn right off the first Roundabout at Tiverton (Link Road A361) to Bampton on the A396. Travel through Bolham to Cove on the A396. Turn left at Cove, opposite the Huntsham turn on your right. Travel over the small stone bridge, past the Toll Bridge House, up the hill to the T Junction. Turn left at the T Junction and continue for 1.5 miles. West Steart Farm is on your left at the top of the hill before you get to the wood! You have to cross our neighbour’s gallop to access the farm track through a second wooden gateway. Look both ways and if horses are coming stop your car well back from the gallop as otherwise they might spook and that would be dangerous at those speeds! Follow the farm track down past outbuildings before bending round through the black metal gates to the farmhouse.

Sat Nav: The Post Code EX16 9QA takes you to our neighbour the ‘Steart Farm Racing Stables’ next door so continue up the hill, until you come to West Steart Farm on your left before you come to the Wood on your left.

By Rail

Tiverton Parkway South West Mainline Station is only 12 miles from West Steart Farm. Either call us when you get to the Station and we will come and pick you up, or grab a taxi. Tiverton Parkway is only 2hr 15 mins from Paddington London!

By Air

Exeter Airport is only 29 miles away! Just a short ride in a Taxi or just give us a ring and we’ll pick you up!
